Discovery Leadership builds leadership skills and creates lasting social change by partnering girls and women in community action projects.

Sporting Chance falls under two programs; Steppingstones and Bridges. Steppingstones; is a motor skills development program for girls ages 6-8, it is designed to promote skills, body movements and health-related fitness.
Bridges; is a sports skill development program for girls ages 9-11, it promotes sport and motor skills that can be applied to various sports, expands girls' opportunities for lifelong involvement in vigorous activities. It helps girls become sufficiently skillful to participate in modified or standard versions of basketball, soccer, tennis and softball.

Preventing Adolescent Pregnancy fall under 4 components;
Growing Together
Will Power/Won't Power
Taking Care of Business
Health Bridge

Growing Together is a sexuality program for girls ages 9-11 and a parent/adult, it is designed thru a series of workshops to increase positive communicatin between parents and daughters about information and values, including those realted to sex and sexuality.

Preventing Adolescent Pregnancy is a will power/won't power program. A sexuality education program for girls ages 12-14.

Friendly PEERsuasion is a substance use prevention program for girls ages 11-14.

Economic Literacy is a economic literacy program that teaches girls to differentiate between paper and coin money. Helps girls consider the pros and cons of spending now and spending later.

Project Bold is a 3 tier program:

Taking Action

Kid-Ability is a personal safety program for children 6-8, this program gives girls vital practice in recognizing problem situations and teaches girls developmentally appropriate responses and skills to increase personal safety.

Action for Safety is a self defense and violence prevention program for girls ages 9-11. It builds girls' abilities to make themselves safer when faced with violence, addresses the continum fo gender-based violence and provides support to girls who have been or are being hurt.

Project Bold is a program for girls ages 12-14. Girls become advocates and partners with community resources to positively impact gender-based violence within their homes, schools or communities.

Media Literacy is a program for girls ages 6-18 which encourages girls to think critically about media images and messages, fostering their awareness of the power of the media and its effects on girls and women.

Operation Smart is an informal education program designed to stimulate girls' interest in science, math, engineering and technology.
